We are getting into the spirit of cruising the Mexican Mainland, secluded anchorages, jungle tours, crocodiles and of course our favorite cheap tacos! We are fortunate enough to explore some of the off the beaten path anchorages such as El Cereyes, an amazingly beautiful seaside resort community which was recently hammered by Hurricane Patricia in 2015.
Once we were torn from Cereyes we stopped in to the small town of La manzanilla and had a great time walking around the Crocodile preserve trying not to get eaten, especially Nikka! With our appetites up we explore the wonderful selection of on the beach dinning, settling on the local special of el” rollo del mar”, fish stuffed with shrimp, wrapped in bacon and topped with an almond cream sauce, mmmmmm…
